One terrific way to see Maui and get the lay of the land is via helicopter (I admit, this view is better than any deck I’ve been on.) We did the West Maui and Molokai route and it was awesome! When we got to Molokai, we were cruising over lush rainforest and then suddenly we came over a cliff that dropped right into the ocean – apparently, the tallest sea cliffs in the world. Then we banked and came into a crevice that opened up to the most amazing waterfalls. I know these tours can be pricey but Costco has them for almost half the price. Keep in mind, to avoid glare off the windows in your pictures wear black or a dark color top.
