Found a little out of the way deck that overlooks Riverway Golf Course. The Clubhouse (http://www.golfburnaby.net/) opened earlier this year and is a beautiful venue for a wedding – high vaulted ceilings, double glass fireplaces on either end of the room and panoramic views of the golf course unobstructed by the massive floor to ceiling windows. My girlfriend had her wedding there this year and it was beautiful. The staff were courteous and on top of things, the food was fresh and delicious and we got to dance the night away. A highlight was the huge deck overlooking the pond and golf course. Would make a good place to have a cool drink on a hot day.
This deck over looking the golf course had a real nice wood feel to it. This reminded me of a deck renovation project we did in North Vancouver. We built large cedar stairs that wound its way from the new vinyl deck to a gorgeous backyard. We also installed custom wood style aluminum railings because this customer didn’t want any upkeep. The aluminum railings are a perfect option for those that don’t want to be re-painting or re-staining their railings each year.
